Bifrost Video

Bifrost is MELEK's video platform. It is the Video (Bifrost) tool in the melek.salon post editor. A Bifrost video is posted to the MELEK Blockchain as a post that carries the video, its thumbnail and its tags, the same model dTube and 3Speak use, so it can be voted on and replied to like any post. The name comes from the Bifröst, the bridge between the world of people and the world of the gods. Part of Posting on MELEK.

How to: upload a video

Open Video (Bifrost) in the post editor's Creation tools panel, or go to hathor.soapbox.community/pentecaust/bifrost/upload.
Choose Choose a video and pick the file. It uploads straight to storage.
Type a title, a description and up to five tags. See Tags on MELEK.
Choose Thumbnail to add a picture shown before the video plays. This is optional.
Choose Publish.

Make the thumbnail in Hathor Studio first; see Making an Image for Your Post. A clear picture with large, readable text works best at small sizes.

How to: put the video in a written post

Copy the video's Bifrost address and paste it into your post on its own line. A YouTube address on its own line also shows as a player. See Images and Video in Posts.
