Making Money Certificate Pathways
Making Money: Certificate Pathways is the Library's hub for credentials you can actually finish — the short, cheap, accredited certificates that open paid work, and the honest account of what each one is and is not worth. It exists because the gap between "I know how to do this" and "someone will pay me to do this" is usually a piece of paper, and that paper is frequently far cheaper and faster to get than people assume.
The companion directory, which lists live programs industry by industry, is at credentials.soapbox.community.
The position this hub takes
Keep the job. Nobody should leave paid work on the theory that a cryptocurrency, a side business, or a credential will replace it on a schedule. The reverse is the working order: a job funds the courses, the exam fees, and the equipment, and it funds participation in whatever community or market a person wants to be part of. Income first, then leverage.
Never stop at one. A single certificate is a door. Two or three that cross fields are a position — a childcare credential plus a food-handler card plus a first-aid certification is a different proposition to an employer than any one of them alone. The plan for certificate one should include buying the course for certificate two.
Know which paper is which. Some certificates are issued against a published national standard by an accredited body. Some are issued by a company that wrote its own test. Both can get work; only one survives a procurement officer reading your file. Which body stands behind a credential is the single most useful thing to check before paying for it.
Why a blockchain project is publishing a careers shelf
The obvious question, answered directly: this is not a traffic exercise and it is not charity.
The usual pitch from a token project is post here and cash out — come for the payout, extract it, leave. That model consumes the people it recruits and it consumes the project. It selects for whoever is fastest to sell, it pays them out of everyone else's position, and when the payouts thin the participants go somewhere else and the thing collapses behind them.
The position here is the other one: come make money with us, and invest here when you can.
The difference is in where the money originates. A person with a job, a credential and an income has something to invest, can afford to be patient, and is not forced to sell. A person with no income but an account balance has to sell, and will. Every healthy market is made of the first kind of participant, and no amount of tokenomics substitutes for them.
So this shelf exists to help people earn in the actual world — a certificate that gets a job, a visa that gets paid work abroad, an examination that removes a year of tuition. What they do with that income afterwards is their business. Some of them will put part of it here, and those people will be investing surplus rather than rent money, which is the only basis on which anyone should be here at all.
That is also why the articles name institutions that have nothing to do with this project — the Council for Professional Recognition, IACET, the College Board, Modern States, Cambridge, the Council of Europe — and send readers to them. The point is that the reader ends up better off. If that happens, the rest takes care of itself.

How to use this
Read the article for the credential you want. It tells you the issuing body, the real requirements, the approximate cost, the renewal cycle, and — where it exists — the published standard the credential is written against. Then go to credentials.soapbox.community for current providers and prices, because those change and this Library does not pretend to track them in real time.
