Hathor Sandalphon

Hathor Sandalphon is the song studio on Pentecaust, at pentecaust.com/sandalphon. It is the Music tool in the melek.salon post editor. It is laid out like Hathor Metatron: plan the song, write it, arrange it, then make it. It is for original songs only; it never imports anyone else's lyrics. Part of Posting on MELEK.

What it has

• Song sheet: the title, a transparency tag (📝 Human, 🤖 AI-Assisted or ⚡ AI-Generated), and the song's sections in order: intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge, outro. It counts syllables per line, so you can check a line is singable.
• Sound: genre, tempo, key, mood and instruments.
• Make it: Prepare for the song engine turns the plan into the exact lyrics and style an open song engine takes (the ACE-Step format). Sending it to MELEK's own song engine is not live yet.
• Song board: cards for each song, from Idea to Lyrics, Arrangement, Recording and Released.

How to: write a song

1. Open Music in the post editor's Creation tools panel, or go to pentecaust.com/sandalphon.
2. Give the song a title and choose its tag.
3. Choose Add section for each part, and write its lines. Use Repeat the chorus to reuse the chorus.
4. Watch the syllable count on each line; lines of similar length in a section sing more easily.
5. Under Sound, choose the genre, tempo, key, mood and instruments.

How to: post it

1. Under Make it, choose Prepare for the song engine, then Copy.
2. Paste the lyrics into the body of your post, choose the Music & Video category, and post. If you recorded the song, upload the video to Bifrost and link it.

How to: keep track of songs

Use Add the current song on the song board, and move the card along as the song progresses. The board is saved in your browser only.
