Pentecaust

Pentecaust is the private-messaging and community layer of the MELEK ecosystem, published at pentecaust.com.

Purpose

The Graphene social chains that preceded MELEK — STEEM, HIVE and BLURT — never shipped a direct-messaging system. Pentecaust fills that gap and extends it into clans and cross-surface identity, so that one account carries a user across the chain, the messenger and the games.

Function

• Private messages and direct conversations between accounts
• Clans, as the persistent social unit
• A single sign-in identity shared with the other ecosystem surfaces
