Pentecaust

Pentecaust is the SoapBox ecosystem's cross-app messaging and community hub: private messages and DMs, a cross-game "clan," and a single sign-on launch point for every app — all under one MELEK identity. It is presented in an AIM-style, tabbed dashboard so that chat, contacts, and app launching live in one familiar place.

Messaging and clan

Pentecaust carries the private side of the ecosystem. It handles direct messages and DMs — including for surfaces like Congress.ink, whose public microblogging feed leaves the private conversation to Pentecaust. Alongside messaging it hosts a cross-game "clan": one community and contact list that follows you across the ecosystem's apps and games rather than being trapped inside any single one.

Single sign-on

Pentecaust doubles as a launch point for the ecosystem. Because a MELEK account is a single identity, Pentecaust acts as an OAuth (single-sign-on) entry, letting you sign in once and move into the connected apps as the same person — no separate account per app.

One identity

The through-line is that there is one MELEK identity across every app: the same account, avatar, REN name, and contacts whether you are messaging, in the clan, or launching another surface. See the hub at soapbox.community.
