**Witness School** is the teaching surface of the MELEK ecosystem, published at witness.melek.salon. It is a structured course rather than a marketing site, covering how the chain works, how to run infrastructure on it, and how to build against it.

## Structure

- */learn* — the chain explained from first principles, for readers who have never used one
- */run* — running a witness node
- */mine* and */pool* — mining, and pool participation
- */wallet* — keys, custody, and the capability of each key
- */tokens* and */fees* — the token layer and its costs
- */whitepaper* — the whitepaper
- */academy* — the structured course
- */hathor* — the AI witness
- */servers* and */build* — infrastructure and building on the chain
- */dev/melek*, */dev/prana*, */dev/token*, */dev/contracts*, */dev/services* — developer documentation

## Rationale

Witness seats in a delegated-proof-of-stake chain are filled by stake-weighted election. The quality of that governance depends on whether voters understand what a witness does. Witness School exists so that a seat can be sought, and a vote cast, by someone who understands the role.
