Witness School
Witness School is the teaching surface of the MELEK ecosystem, published at witness.melek.salon. It is a structured course rather than a marketing site, covering how the chain works, how to run infrastructure on it, and how to build against it.
Structure
- /learn — the chain explained from first principles, for readers who have never used one
- /run — running a witness node
- /mine and /pool — mining, and pool participation
- /wallet — keys, custody, and the capability of each key
- /tokens and /fees — the token layer and its costs
- /whitepaper — the whitepaper
- /academy — the structured course
- /hathor — the AI witness
- /servers and /build — infrastructure and building on the chain
- /dev/melek, /dev/prana, /dev/token, /dev/contracts, /dev/services — developer documentation
Rationale
Witness seats in a delegated-proof-of-stake chain are filled by stake-weighted election. The quality of that governance depends on whether voters understand what a witness does. Witness School exists so that a seat can be sought, and a vote cast, by someone who understands the role.
