VKBT and CURE
VKBT (Van Kush Beauty Token) and CURE are Hive-Engine tokens issued from the Van Kush Family business, a maker of handcrafted goods. They have been in distribution for several years.
Significance to MELEK
MELEK has not been listed on any external exchange and has no trading pair outside its own infrastructure. As a consequence there is no route into MELEK from Bitcoin, Litecoin, STEEM or HIVE.
VKBT and CURE are bridged from Hive-Engine onto PRANA one-to-one under multisignature custody, and traded on KulaSwap as VKBT/KULA and CURE/KULA against a KULA/MELEK pair. They are therefore the only assets carrying outside value that reach MELEK, in either direction:
- Inbound — a holder of VKBT or CURE can convert into KULA and then MELEK.
- Outbound — a holder of MELEK can convert to KULA, then to VKBT or CURE, then across the bridge to Hive-Engine and out through HIVE or a swap withdrawal.
